Swinbrook Village

I'm so pretty, oh so pretty…

Contrary to the myth, now widely circulated amongst Japanese tourists visiting the village, these stones do not date back to the Neolithic age and do not align with the Sun during Summer Solstice. They are merely the product of 'townie' vandalism: the need for suburban types to feel at home, what with the lack of Sleeping Policemen and cast iron bollards to keep them snug in their beds.

Some might argue that they keep the riff raff from mounting the kerb and bespoiling England's green and pleasant land. Those same people seem to count for nought parking their gas guzzling 4×4's and Beemers on these verges (more…)

I'm not a Collie crossed with anything…I'm a Belgian Shepherd!!!

After a great deal of time talking about it, finally made the trek up to the top of the church tower. Some great views that day - will be back.
